Rooms will be reserved for workshop participants coming from abroad from Thursday May 19 until Friday May 20. This night will be covered by the workshop for speakers. Should you wish to extend your stay, please let us know or contact the hotel room reservations. The special TED room rates are 105 EUR for single and 130 EUR for double occupancy and also apply to extra nights.
Cumulus Seurahuone can be easily reached from the airport by bus. For example, the Finnair City Bus will take you directly from the airport to the Helsinki railway station located just 50 meters away from the hotel.Friday May 20 to Sunday May 22
Conference Ship Silja SerenadeOn Friday May 20 the workshop participants should meet at the Olympia Terminal located at the South Harbour of the Port of Helsinki at 10.00 - 10.30 hours. We shall board the ship as a group.
The ship cabin costs and workshop meals on board shall be covered by the organizers for the speakers. For students and other participants the total costs for the trip and meals are 355 Euros in single, 220 Euros in double and 184 Euros in triple occupancy.
The workshop ship Silja Serenade will set sail at 17.00 hours and the route will take the participants via the Åland Islands to Stockholm. There is an extensive workshop program but the two nights on board also provide an opportunity to sample various Scandinavian dishes during the buffet dinners and to enjoy light entertainment provided by Silja Line.
